About Greg Remaly

I've spent most of my life asking one question:

How can I become faster?

That question has shaped everything I've done for more than two decades—as a professional triathlete, as a coach, and now as one of the top-performing age-group triathletes in the United States.

What drives me isn't simply competition. It's the process of improvement. I love testing ideas, questioning conventional wisdom, refining every detail, and discovering what truly makes endurance athletes perform at their best. Every workout, every race, every season is another opportunity to learn something new.

I first competed professionally from 2001 to 2010, earning ten professional victories and numerous podium finishes at many of the sport's premier races. Since returning to competition in 2021, I've continued to test that same process at the highest level of age-group racing, becoming the #1 ranked U.S. short-course triathlete for three consecutive years and the top-ranked American triathlete across all distances in the 45+ division in 2025.

Those results matter—not because they're trophies, but because they're proof. They show that the methods I coach today are not ideas from another era. They're principles that continue to evolve, continue to be tested, and continue to produce results.

That's what my coaching is built on.

My athletes don't receive a generic training plan or a philosophy copied from a textbook. They benefit from a coaching process that is constantly being refined through real training, real racing, and an uncompromising pursuit of improvement. Whether the goal is finishing a first triathlon, qualifying for a world championship, or standing on the top step of the podium, my commitment is the same: to help every athlete discover just how fast they can become.
